Photograph the scope clearly

Include wide views of each room and closer views of visible repairs. Label photos by room or area so the estimate can connect observations to the right space. HEIC, JPEG, PNG, and WebP images are supported.

Add details photos cannot show

Provide the property location, size, known repairs, and the level of finish you are considering. Include measurements or existing quotes when available. Explain which rooms need work and which items you intend to leave alone. More specific scope information makes the resulting assumptions easier to review.

Review ranges and contingency

The estimator produces itemized ranges and contingency for planning. Read the assumptions and exclusions as carefully as the total. Save the estimate so you can revisit it when you get better measurements, inspection findings, or contractor pricing.

What a photo cannot establish

Photos cannot reveal hidden moisture, concealed structural damage, electrical conditions inside walls, or the full state of mechanical systems. They also do not establish permit requirements or a contractor’s actual price. An AI estimate is not an inspection or a binding bid.
